Mark Foley, who was caught sending lewd e-mails to a 16-year-old congressional page and lost his seat in Congress back in 2006 because of it, advised Allen West on his congressional re-election campaign in Florida. West lost to Democrat Patrick Murphy.

Also, Scott Jensen, the disgraced former Wisconsin State Assembly Speaker who was implicated in the Caucusgate scandal is now a powerful lobbyist for the pro-school voucher group American Federation for Children. Jensen's AFC tried to ratfuck five Democratic primaries for Milwaukee-area state legislative races in Wisconsin, and all five AFC-backed Democratic candidates lost to progressive Democratic challengers.

When Democrats break the law, we usually disavow them (Rod Blagojevich, Chuck Chvala, etc.), yet when Republicans break the law, they usually end up on what I like to call "Wingnut Welfare", in which disgraced Republicans end up with some sort of insider role with a Republican campaign for public office or a Republican front group.

Committed to making sure that Mark Kirk and Ron Johnson are shown the door in 2016!
