  •  Beauveria bassiana is a common fungus (4+ / 0-)

    that attacks insects. It has been studied for biological control for a long time.

    It is certainly possible that someone could develop an allergy to its spores but I don't think that it has much potential for infecting mammals. If you have a suppressed immune system it could be dangerous.
