    that targets networks which stifle progressive talk...or perhaps shows which replace progressive talk shows.  However, since the audiences are different, this may be impossible.

    The conservative strategy to monopolize public radio airwaves has been, as one commentator said above, a "long game" that's worked unbelievably well.  It also forces new talk radio talent to take a conservative tone even if they don't necesarily subscribe to that philosophy (if they want to have a career, they have to toe the line.)  I finally splurged and got Satellite radio this year, where you can hear all the progressives you want.  However, the loss of progressive talkers on the public airwaves is a huge disadvantage for the country - there is only one view and a lot of ridiculous misinformation being blasted in cars, businesses and homes across the nation and it sinks in, whether people realize it or not.

    What is the progressive to do about this?
