    Having an outstanding lawsuit or even a prominent chip on ones shoulder isn't going to help get the next gig. And attorney fees could easily eat up any severance $ paid out in short order not to mention that focussing the recently unemployed mind on the negative doesn't help getting that next job either.

    I understand Sly's philosophical take on events and the reality that everyone who has not been as fortunate as he to have a gig that lasted 15 years.

    Format changes in the broadcasting biz are as inevitable as death and taxes.  Inevitability, however, does not trump the need to try to change regressive taxes or investigate unnatural deaths any more than it should quash the questioning of format changes.
