with indignation and (inaccurate) facts. I feel like Jon Stewart responding to Tucker Carlson, and that gives me undeniable glee.

So, to my favorite hater who has a hard time with facts (251% is Chase credit card increase), I say happy holidays.

Please continue to visit my diaries often. I miss you when you're absent.

    •  how are the facts inaccurate? (0+ / 0-)

unless you're saying you can't trust anything that's in the news (except for what you choose to believe)? that's what was reported - Walmart Black Friday sales best of all time, and that's from the credit card companies, not from Walmart. Satire has to be based on some element of reality, if sales are making records, it's kind of meaningless that Walmart is complaining that their sales are being affected. (cuz they're not, you know)?

      facts,

Walmart defied the threat of protests to claim the busiest Black Friday in its history, and indications are that earlier store openings and a rebounding economy pushed sales well above last year's level.

Bolstered by the early store openings, Thursday night and Black Friday sales have shown a frenzy of activity, according to early estimates.

of course the 'facts' that matter to you are the ones you invent in your head

Jon Stewart? In your wildest dreams. If only. But then reality has never been your strong suit.
