    Gets much more attention and makes a handful of reasonable progressives look like an imminent threat to the status quo. Well done!  Too bad they didn't have riot gear, or tanks.

      Yes on the one hand they brot us more attention.

      But on the other hand, this it's deeply disturbing to see such a show of force for so few peaceful protesters. However, nice and polite the officers are (& I will credit these officers with being nice and polite), they still come armed. So, at one point, that was 6 armed men for 11 protesters armed only with cardboard. And all in the service of a giant corporation!

        but I was really serious. Sure they frightened you, but your stood up for your rights. The optics for WalMart were, IMHO, catastrophic. They should have brought you chairs and coffee, instead they comply with the image of corporate tyrant and abuser of public resources.  With a tank, you could have got your Tianamen Square photo on newspapers around the country.
