    it does seem our Oligarchy's "Freedom" and "Liberty" stand today for what it stood for then: That the Aristocrats and Monied should not be taxed nor put upon in any way for the common good nor the needs of proper governance.

    Nor that the Commons should be left in the hands of the lesser sort of folk. (That emphasis might have come a bit later.)

    Liberty and Freedom to completely ignore the entire teachings of Christianity in favor of Wealth Accumulation. For the few, not the many.

    I could have that wrong in some measure, but I don't think by much. What is sad is how so many misunderstand what Freedom and Liberty means when used by our Republican right wing and oligarchy apologists of all parties.

    The Internet is just the tail of the Corporate Media dog.
