    It takes more knowledge and training to be a good PE teacher than just "I played on a sports team."  But teaching is widely perceived as an "easy" job since everybody's been in school and "knows" how it works.  Not so much in real life.

      I just took a stab at the sample questions for Health and PE.  23 correct out of 24.  I have no damn idea how to be a PE teacher, but I know how to take formulaic, multiple choice exams.

      Having done the full exams for stereotypical "hard" subjects, physics and math, they're really the same.  All it takes is some minimal knowledge of the subject, a little common sense, and experience with the joys of ETS testing.  These things test how well you test, which should not be a terribly surprising phenomenon.
