work, they deny it's even true.  Trump and his college and law school transcript conspiracies play to this whole affirmative action line of attack about "undeserving" African-Americans getting "special favors" because of their race.

But, of course, according to the MSM, it's just a hateful to refer to these as racist attacks.

IOW, to the MSM, it's wrong to tell the truth.

Exactly where I was going with that.  It is so amazing that "they" forget the dummies who themselves got into great schools based on legacy, not because of what you know, but because of who you are, who your father or grandfather was, i.e., Bush!  When my daughter got her scholarship to Stanford, one of the blond/blue eyed officer's wives asked me if I went there too, because that was surely the only way she (my daughter) could have ever gotten into such a fine school!  Then she said to me, in my face, "I went to Alabama State because my father, grandfather, and grandmother went there, and I got in."  No reflection on Alabama State, but like it was okay for her to get into college that way, and the thought that someone actually earned a "real" scholarship to a prestigious school was not even in the ballpark.  Yes, I was offended, and yes, I responded in a not so nice way...thank you very much!  Hadn't thought of that conversation in years.  And the memory of it still rankles my nerves.

But I am always offended when credit is not given for hard work, dedication, and yes, dare I say it, brains!  No matter who has it!

Thanks for your observation.  Really hit home!

As my friend said," I am not renting out space in my head to anybody."

    •  Unless, of course ... (0+ / 0-)

... the story is about black people who say they voted for Obama only because he's black.
