  •  And I'm sitting here in the CA Delta looking at (12+ / 0-)

the forecast - rain starting Tuesday night and going on until Sunday and possibly beyond. NWS saying the fronts are going to tap into lower Pacific moisture. That is what we call a Pineapple Express. Really hoping it is more hype at this point. But looking at the current satellite- ohhh boy lots of moisture off of Hawaii. Climate change models say more rain less snow for CA. We shall see. Am preparing best that we can. We are in a much better place than when we got here. Got a 31kw generator to provide water for our customers and keep power to the store, house, propane dispenser and gas dock. That reminds me, need to check propane levels as jenny runs on propane. I would imagine that rain is going to head toward the Mississippi.

if a habitat is flooded, the improvement for target fishes increases by an infinite percentage...because a habitat suitability index that is even a tiny fraction of 1 is still infinitely higher than zero, which is the suitability of dry land to fishes.
