  •  German demands for Austerity??!!!! (4+ / 0-)

Why not blame the corrupt pols in Greece and Spain who insisted that their respective countries use the Euro as their means of exchange?

Did the US bailout Argentina one decade ago, when that country had to stop using the Dollar?

Furthermore, the German voter was EXPLICITLY promised that he would NEVER have to bailout another country.  Germany opinion was against the EZ until the AntiBailout clause was made EXPLICIT.

You want less austerity for Greece, Spain and other non-core countries?

Have them leave the EZ and readopt their legacy currencies.

This would be best for all parties, except for the presiding pols in the non-core countries.

The truth is, the typical pol in Spain and Greece cares more about his reputation in Brussels than about his "constituents".

      •  Those of us in the Blue States have something in (0+ / 0-)

common with the German taxpayer. We pay our taxes to the Federal government which then gives more of it proportionately to the moron-governed taker Red States. And the red states wreck the country by their habits of voting for morons.
