looks like Seward Bay but they dont' have a refinery there that I know of, maybe somewhere in Canada. I saw a jack up rig standing by there in 85 and when the clouds lift you can see snow covered peaks above the trees. Oil extraction often occurs in extremely beautiful places. The north slope of the Brooks Range in winter is one of the most picturesque landscapes I've yet to see.

I also tripped pipe at a deep rig so far up into the Wyoming Range that they had to blow the mountain above is to release it's snow load so it wouldn't come down all at once and cover the rig. It was two hours to get to a hard surface road going fast.

I understand what the advertisement was getting at. They were trying to anger single women or unmarried women by repeating some sexist remarks from a Chinese official.

Mostly my take away is a bunch of people in the city in warm houses with cats bitching about the oil that keeps them warm and flies them over the hills and through the woods to grandmothers house. Cities guzzle oil and produce none. Then they complain when beautiful places give it up for them. How much oil for a cat? Where to get the stuff? Hairballs?

How big is your personal carbon footprint?
