  •  yep. Destroy any remaining credibility (4+ / 0-)

a lot of people are going to go into the mode of "oh, well. I'm sure they meant well..." as the immediate memory of Nov 6 fades.
That would be an unforced error on our part. I was concerned after 2008 when kos and others gloated about the GOP becoming a "regional rump party", because I have had far too many encounters with racism to believe that for one second. 2010 was the backlash from that regional rump party and it did major damage to the democratic agenda (with help from the blue dogs and attention whores in both chambers and the media).
Now is the time to hammer the point that the republican party is absolutely chock full of shit from top to bottom.
They are wrong, provably wrong, on virtually every issue from warmaking to climate to economic policy to social engineering. They do not deserve a voice in discussions of any of these matters because their first response to evidence of their wrongness is suppression of the facts (climate change, voter ID, recent congressional report that trickle down doesn't work except for the tricklers...)
Politics ain't beanbag, and the American people's collective political memory is appallingly short. Constant reminders of the failure of republicanism is necessary, and it is our job to keep the bad medicine of their 'ideas' out of circulation.

R-Money/R-Ayn, the ENRON Ticket, is not a campaign; it's a hostile takeover bid. UPDATE: a failed takeover bid
