    •  So because some asshole in Australia (3+ / 0-)

was an asshole in public, you cut off an entire organization?

Without even looking into what good they do, or whether anybody else in the organization agrees with him?

What ever happened to thinking before you condemn an entire group?

      •  I'll refer you to my reply to faithnomore above (5+ / 0-)

I am not one to condemn anybody unjustly on purpose.  I did my research, and what I found was astounding.  Did you not read the entire diary?  Yes, SA has done a lot of good.  It's why I am so very disappointed in learning about their discrimination.  Does their 'good' outweigh it?  Not for me.

I did.  It being summer at the time, I thought sleeping the Street to be preferable.

Now .. that was "a lifetime ago" ... maybe the SAs have improved themselves.  Maybe.  It could happen.

Like with the rest of the Evangelical Entrepreneurials ... like Rick Warren and Franklin Graham.

Do you have any evidence that this has happened ?

July 25, 2012: Danielle Morantezwas fired from her job as a case worker for the SA in Burlington, Vermont because she came out that she is bisexual.

Feb. 2004 - NYCLU sued the SA  for religious discrimination against employees in its government-funded social services in New York City and on Long Island.

SA sought a 'secret deal' with Bush Admin for federal regulation to protect the right of taxpayer-funded religious organizations to discriminate against homosexuals.
