    sunset everything else in the 2001 Tax act? If memory serves, much of the damage was created when the conference committee totally caved to the House version in which DeLay declared the rates to be just a starting point and put in a lot of other stuff. (And by stuff I mean crap.) Some of what the House put in involved retroactively refunding a lot of corporate and rich-people stuff, and I assume you can't simply go take all that money again. But is there enough other stuff for that to work?

    Personal preference is to let the thing expire and then the Admin submit its own tax act a la Reagan's 86 tax reform.
