Here's some state senate races in Wisconsin that are worth watching in 2014:

SD-1: Republican-leaning district with Republican incumbent who is prone to making controversial remarks.

SD-5: District made significantly more Republican in redistricting, however, it has a Republican incumbent who is prone to making controversial remarks.

SD-13: District made slightly more Democratic in redistricting, however, it's still heavily-Republican. A progressive activist managed to get a recall petition on the Republican incumbent, who also happens to be the Republican floor leader of the State Senate, however, she no longer lives in the district.

SD-15: Heavily-Democratic district with a moderate Democratic incumbent who is highly vulnerable to a primary challenge.

SD-17: Democratic-leaning district with a moderate Republican incumbent. May need the incumbent to retire or lose the primary in order for this race to be competitive.

SD-19: Republican-leaning district with entrenched Republican incumbent. If the incumbent retires or loses the primary, the district is in play.

SD-21: District made significantly more Republican in redistricting but has a Democratic incumbent. The incumbent may seek higher office in order to avoid likely defeat.

SD-23: Republican-leaning district with Republican incumbent who survived a recall attempt.

SD-25: Democratic-leaning district with entrenched Democratic incumbent. Could be competitive if the incumbent retires or loses a primary.

SD-29: Republican-leaning district with Republican incumbent who won after the previous Republican incumbent resigned under threat of recall.

SD-31: Democratic-leaning district with Democratic incumbent who may seek higher office. If the incumbent retires, runs for higher office, or loses the primary, the district could be in play.

Committed to making sure that Mark Kirk and Ron Johnson are shown the door in 2016!
