He'd be replacing Hillary, which is weird, also weird b/c his stature is probably greater than Obama's and would lead to a bunch of "who's really in charge here" stories.

Plus too hard---SoS is harder than rest of cabinet b/c it involves more foreign travel than the rest.  You're never home.  I doubt Clinton wants that, he was POTUS for two terms.  Gore, by contrast, is probably still hungry to serve.

congress-critters wives have replaced their unexpectedly deceased husbands? That Bono woman won re-election how many times?  A woman can follow in her husband's job, but a man following his wife's is weird? Sexist much?

As far as, "who's in charge here" I think Bill would know that because HE WAS THE PRESIDENT! I suspect he would know that BHO can like, fire him.

I agree with you on the travel the SoS job requires, I said so above, but really dude. Weird?

I don't feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from them. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves. -John Wayne (-9.00,-8.86)

      •  You misunderstanding me on "who's in charge" (0+ / 0-)

I said "stories" not that there'd be an actual issue.  But the time that's spent swatting down stupid stories is time not spent on actual productive stuff.

Fair point on family members swapping Senate seats though.
