  •  Medicaid is a different problem entirely. (6+ / 0-)

I would have to determine, first, what kind of coverage is provided by the individual states.

Your point is a good one, however. I suspect the states where elected senators voted Nay have also eviscerated Medicaid coverage for autism and other developmental disabilities.  :(

    •  Senator Gillibrand's staff might already (7+ / 0-)

know, at least for some of the states.

She's a Kossack and would probably be happy to help you.

      In her testimony she stated:

ABA Waitlist for Medicaid Waiver in MD, 7 years
ABA Waitlist for Medicaid Waiver in VA, 10 years
Her first example was a state where the wait list was 9 years, but I don't think she said which state.

By the time these kids have been on a medicaid wait list for 7 - 10 years they'll be far beyond their most fertile formative years.

      "Pro-military" Nay-men

These "Pro-military" Nay-men voted to deny these kids funding for a MINIMUM standard of care for clinically proven effective treatment; treatment that will help these children grow up into tax-payers when they can get jobs as adults.

All these Senators who voted Nay supposedly care so much for the unborn, but are telling these veterans and their kids to fuck off.

      •  I remember when Alan Grayson stood on the (5+ / 0-)

House floor and read how many people would die in a year from each district from not having health insurance. He was making the point how many voters die each year.

Bug your Senator. Better yet, list your state and have fellow Kossacks from your state bug the senator also.

Cornyn voted against it, of course, and Hutchinson, who is retiring anyway, voted for it.

        •  The vote already happened, and it passed. (3+ / 0-)

I posted the list, so that Kossacks can express their displeasure to these jerks and educate voters in their district, especially veterans and friends and family of anyone who has served or is serving now.

These are "pro-military" republican Senators.  Any of them who are up for re-election in 2014 should be asked to explain their Nay vote today.

      •  Pat Toomey, of course (5+ / 0-)

He won the Senate in the same 2010 election year that every ass I loathed won. I could not believe those results.

I was afraid I had put the curse on the sensible folks and was afraid my "gift" of my backing would affect PBO's chances this year.

I hate it every time I sign a petition that goes to the senators of my state because writing to him is a total waste.

    •  I'm not meaning to pressure you - but saw the RN (2+ / 0-)

The more I read about this, the madder I'm getting.

I'm up to my ass in alligators this week, and it's obviously grabbed your interest. Do it!
