    Although specialized white rats bred for laboratory work may have there own genetic dispositions for cancer or renal failure.

      I mean, pain is no fun, but I've completely stopped taking ibuprofen because I would rather just endure it than put my kidneys at risk.

      Also, not sure why you had the comment about white rats bred for lab work.  The link I posted was about a study of "12 women with mild kidney disease who also had arthritis and high blood pressure, two illnesses that often prompt its use."
