For those who have a hard time putting more than 10 words together.  The sound byte generation. They do not seem interested in becoming informed, rather letting others do their fact finding for them. So many stupid remarks just makes me wonder about people.

    •  I don't think that's fair (13+ / 0-)

I live in a small town full of people I have no interest in interacting with. They bore me.

Twitter is where I interact with lots of people; and not a single person in the thousand or so I interact with has trouble putting 10 words together.

it isn't for everyone, that's true.

well, let's say you're interested in blues and folk music, like I am, @RayBeckerman tweets out playlists of all sorts of stuff that's made it to YouTube, from the Staples Singers to John Lee Hooker to Phil Ochs and beyond. He is also an attorney who has been at the forefront of cases involving peer-to-peer sharing over the Internet, which interests me. He also rewteets articles about OWS, and so on and so forth. So Twitter is a perfect platform for Ray to keep us informed about that sort of thing.

The idea is to pick the people, organizations and causes you are interested in, follow them, and stay away from the rest.

If you can't say anything nice about the GOP, please post here more often.
