  •  agree--you can tailor usage--and it is a quick way (12+ / 0-)

    to get information out there.  Within minutes, a good tweet can appear almost immediately on the air running underneath some lying GOPer--correcting the misinformation they spew.  

    It's also kind of fun to figure out a way to say what you need to say within the character limit.

    And it's less narscissistic than FB, IMO.

      it sucks me back in...seems that more news outlets are going to Facebook for their comments sections, which locks out those of us who don't like the privacy holes in Zuckerberg's Kingdom. And more people are Tweeting links that require Facebook login to view. I'm tempted to sign up with Facebook one more time, but just so I can login to do comments and view articles, none of the "status updates" unless it's a general "Still alive..."
