What can I say, I'm part of the Millennial Generation, so that means I'm a big social media user, college educated, don't really care much about my privacy, and have a moderate ego.  I could give lip-service (and have..) to older members here who are meticulous about their privacy, but I figure people shouldn't have any expectation of privacy with the Internet.  I understand concerns about people with their jobs, but there are tools to lock down Facebook to everyone except accepted friends.

Anyway, so Twitter fits the bit on all those accounts.  I can follow all types of accounts for news (which is my main use for it), I can interact directly with celebrities/athletes/newscasters/etc, which is extremely unique since for the first time ever the barriers between consumers of entertainment and the entertainers themselves have been completely broken down with Twitter. (I've actually gotten responses from Keith Olbermann, Russell Simmons, etc.).

And I can tweet my dinner creations to all my friends!  (Remember, the ego thing).

Social media is overwhelmingly used by the Millennial Generation, and this is even more so for Twitter (vs. Facebook).  There's always trolls and jerks on the internet, just have to ignore them.

It is done. Four More Years.

You will learn the value of that some day. Hopefully it will not be after you have given away something that you never knew you wanted, and worst of all needed.
