    We tried it your way for the last 30 of those 80 years.

    Wages declined, while income inequality grew. Those at the top taking a greater share than at any time since the '20s. The 1920's that is.

    We tried it your way for the last 30 years and it didn't work.

    That is why policy should revert to a form closer to the 50's and 60's - when income disparity was smaller, wage growth stronger and the country in better financial shape.
