  •  And he's cute... (6+ / 0-)

Although I can't decide if I'd like to make out with him passionately, or keep him around to be my conscience like Jiminy Cricket...is that weird?
His book was good, too. Even the Acknowledgements were beautiful. Such lovely thoughts about his wife and daughter, it melted my cynical heart.

      •  well, yeah, chicating, intelligence, truth, (5+ / 0-)

smarts, historical knowledge, common sense, good analytic skills, good people skills are all very, very attractive traits.......

I have always secretly thought that Dems find smarts like his very sexy (in addition to the usual sources of attraction,) and that R's are only attracted to what is below the neck....

A private theory.  So, that we Dems can go googly eyes over nerds, geeks, people who are smart, in addition to the usual sources of attraction.....

        Or maybe that's just me.

        •  I would agree... (4+ / 0-)

although he's not bad to look at either. Alternative Jimmy Oleson, mixed with some Chris O'Donnell--not bad. Not really the sort of thing you'd know to order, but it worked out. And I must say it's his general optimism I spark to...so many smart people have lost theirs...I bet he got "Stay as sweet as you are" in his yearbook a lot.(I did too, but that was a SPED thing.)
