  •  Oh Lord what a blessing it would be (0+ / 0-)

    to be rid of:

    South Carolina

These comprise the old "Gulf Squadron" which were the initial so-called seceding states in 1860-61.   Perhaps this time we could let them go?  The only requirement I would insist upon is that whatever new Confederacy of Dunces they managed to put together would never be eligible for United States foreign aid.

    •  My idea of a blessing ... (0+ / 0-)

... would be the old Dixiecrats of those states coming to their senses.

There are entirely too many wonderful people and places in those states for me to want them gone.  After all, one of the major reasons to oppose the secession of the confederates states was for the sake of the people who lived there who did not want to secede.

    •  Within a generations (0+ / 0-)

All of these states will be solid blue.

No need to do a thing at all.

    •  This means the Gulf of Mexico will be Drill baby (0+ / 0-)

drilled with no environmental restraints. This leaves all countries with Gulf coastlines likely to invade the new country and wipe their asses with their own hair to prevent eco-cide.

I'd tip you but they cut off my tip box. The TSA would put Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad on the no-fly list.
