...it just doesn't get much worse than Dick Armey. The man was a pig and proud of it when he was in Congress, he started off his stint in the leadership with "Your president's [Clinton] political well being just is not of that much importance to us" and ended it with "There are two kinds of Jews, smart Jews and the ones who vote Democrat", with too many greatest hits to list in between. To be fair, he was also quite disrespectful to his fellow Republicans: he participated in the failed coup against Speaker Gingrich in 1997 and then lied about it. It's great to see he's still spreading his garbage in a venue where it only hurts right-wingers for a change!

I think he also referred to political compromise as
"date rape". What a sick mind.

The Republican voters sat back and voted for these scumbags year after year. They didn't care how rotten they were as long as they won. The voters were 50% of the problem.

Although he later claimed it was all a mistake. Armey did tell Hillary Clinton - to her face - that her charm was vastly overrated or some such. He also complained that Congress was being "feminized" when it was around 18% female.

in the last couple of years, he was as sexist as could be.  Joan Walsh was the other guest and dared to challenged Armey's sick/warped world view and his response was "I feel sorry for your husband."   Matthews, to his credit, trashed him for the remark.

But sadly Matthews and too many of the press continue to give credence and airtime to these assh*les.

... mucky muck who had no idea what Personhood amendments were during a Tweety interview.  Can't remember his name, but he looked like he should be cradling a musket.  If he's the new public face of Freedomworks, they're going to be a huge turn off to a lot of people, left, right and center.
