    It says it's the first, which, predictably in dispute. But early 1920's, so it's been on quite a while.

    I missed the streetcars, coal bins and soot. We still had the narrow streets, snow and cold, though. Although I was a suburb girl, so less narrow streets. Not so much as you might expect, though.

      lived right next to Homewood Cemetery in Point Breeze when I was a kid. I remember the Carnegie Museum, the Cathedral of Learning, Highland Park, and Frick Park. My father was always proud of the cultural resources of the city.

      My sister and her husband visited the old neighborhood back in the eighties. It hasn't changed much, the way many neighborhoods haven't "back East."
