keep losing elections & eventually be voted out & disappear.

they might reincarnate & become something else & go by a different name, but the gop is dead for all intents & purposes as long as they refuse to change & the grover norquists of the party are in charge.

Here is what is frustrating:   President Obama won MI and it wasn't even close.  So how did MI end up with a state government completly controlled by repubs??

Democrats stayed home for the election in 2010 and this is what we got.  These people are insidious.  The Michigan governor has brought us a bunch of garbage legislation.  They are trying to privatize education k-12, allow emergency room doctors to refuse treatment for on issues like emergency abortion and treatment of HIV/AIDS patients based on religion and matters of "conscience", Emergency Manager law for communities and schools.  Governor and legislature no better than Wisconsin or Ohio.

I called the governor's office.   If he gets the legislation he will sign it.  I called my representative and state senator.    There are a lot of union protesters over there and also some teabaggers.   In the end, I think this will backfire on them.
