gone. He is too important for the right-wing machine. They will subsidize him until the day he doesn't want to do it anymore. They know he will spew his nonsense and his moronic followers will eat up every word of it. They desperately need to have a source leading their narrative every day, and that source is Rush.

I listened today for the first time in a while. I generally only listen for about 10 minutes before I turn it off, but it is pretty disturbing that a single person in the US is dumb enough to fall for his crap. He blatantly lies in literally almost every sentence he makes, and his explanations for events and statements have no basis in any form of reality or policy analysis--they are entirely based on conspiracy theories. I would like to listen to the entire show for a period of time, and see how many individual conspiracy theories he creates (or more realistically, have somebody else do this so that I don't have to suffer through Rush and his idiotic callers).

If you count Rush's conspiracy theories, and combine them with the  conspiracy theories of his callers he has to have at least 150-200 conspiracy theories a week.

    •  I agree - Rush is Satan's mouthpiece ... (0+ / 0-)

in my opinion, which I decided the first time I heard him in the early 1990s (even before the Clinton presidency.)

He twists info about everything when he speaks & has become even more hateful & rabid over the years.

Why he has not been jailed for hate speech & promoting violence is a sad testament to our society & the ugly power of money.

He reminds me of the stinky sh*t you can't get off your shoe.

Rush deserves mean things being said about him - he sets the courtesy bar that low.

Something that doesn't make good sense, makes bad sense. That means someone is being deliberately hurtful & selfish. Look for motives behind actions & words.
