    He's facing the same demographic shift Fox will be facing soon.

      Or, why did his star rise so high when it did? ($400 million dollars for a five-year contract? Wtf!?) And why did it take so long to get rid of this verbal bully?

      One can speculate on some things -- e.g., getting rid of the Fairness Doctrine in 1987, perhaps that was sufficient? Limbaugh's national broadcasts began in 1986, good timing for him.
