  •  Shouldn't Boehner get his own House in Order... (3+ / 0-)

before sticking his nose into the Senate--where he has no power anyway?

    •  Shouldn't he have done something besides (2+ / 0-)

posturing for the Tea Brained for the last two years?

Economics is a social *science*. Can we base future economic decisions on math?

      •  Well--he's setting a record... (4+ / 0-)

For doing nothing: Boehner's Do-Nothing Congress:

To call this 112th Congress a do-nothing Congress would be an insult — to the real Do-Nothing Congress of 1947-48. That Congress passed 908 laws. To date, this one has passed 106 public laws... Even if they triple that output in the rest of 2012 — not a terribly likely proposition — they will still be in last place going back at least 40 years...

Doing nothing would arguably be preferable to what the House is actually doing. Lawmakers have staged 195 roll-call votes so far this year, which sounds like a lot until you realize that boils down to only about 60 pieces of legislation, including post-office namings. Among the 60:

●The Mark Twain Commemorative Coin Act.

        ●The Sportsmen’s Heritage Act of 2012.

Congress set aside a total of 109 working days for year 2012...

"...there's little difference between when Congress is in session and when Congress is not. Either way, they never get anything done..."

...the 111th Congress...Under (the) leadership of Nancy Pelosi...(was rated by) historian Alan Brinkley (as) "probably the most productive session of Congress since at least the '60s..."

Unfortunately, John Boehner has produced just the opposite: Not one piece of significant legislation -- unless you count voting to repeal Obamacare. Thirty-three times!...

It takes a special kind of guy to collect a very generous taxpayer funded salary for doing nothing--while he accuses half the population of feeling "entitled"...
