      That's some lunatic country down there, boy!  No wonder Gomer likes that word.  I've been there once and weird doesn't begin to describe the behavior I observed.  Bikers hauling chainsaws in Nazi helmets, geezers in overalls setting up lawnchairs at gas stations to stare at customers, fundies selling used farm tools and tacos out of their garage, general lunatics hanging around motel parking lots...and that was just a day and a half.  Pretty much Teatopia, if I can imagine what that would look like.
