I think 2008 Obama voters gave fair warning about what they wanted and what they expected and what would happen if he gave us a lousy healthcare bill.   That was the only thing that anyone drew a line in the sand about.

Then we got a lousy bill anyways.  it was like saying, well , what are you going to do about it?  Vote for the other side?

So voters stayed home and they got what they deserved.  Plus they weren't even trying to develop any new districts.   There are some Dem voters who have a right to be PO'd because no one gives a damn about them because they live in a Democratically designated Red state.

Anyone expecting a great deal more from the healthcare bill was being unreasonable. It was close to the best deal that could've passed at the time.

However, had the left played it smart and supported the Democrats for the amount of progess that they had made rather than trying to punish them for not delivering the impossible immediately, we'd be two years further into improving the healthcare bill.

Instead, we've spent the past 2 years fighting unnecessary battles because of the lefts unresonable expectations.
