    He vetoed the voter id bill put forth by the Republic legislature this past summer, which was the right thing to do. I suspect he will veto this legislation as well if it makes it to his desk. Snyder did have a modicum amount of union support when he ran for office, and a lot of Democrats crossed over and supported him two years ago. I think this issue is going nowhere.

    This is pure speculation, but I suspect one issue is that the Repub led legislature forcing Snyder to veto anything related to RTW, it could make him look weak and subject him to a primary challenge.
