yourself and your interests with those around they captors or whatever.  Which is why if don't chAnge the ground rules: no revolving doors for 5 years, no corporate money in campaigns, no non profits for politcal causes, only public moneys in campaigns, free equal TV access for all contenders including debates (make the media start paying for their use of OUR air waves),  etc etc.

When are legislators are no longer hobnobbing with corproate bribers they will no longer be subject to that Stockholm syndrome.

seem to be suffering form Stockholm syndrome. Our so called duly elected representatives not so much. They, regardless of party they fly under, are the enforcers and ATM for those who really hold us hostage. There is no public welfare or common good anymore or even a 'national interest'. What we have is 'The Theory and Implementation of Oligarchical  Collectivism'. Our government and most other sovereign states are owned lock stock and oil barrel by giant multinationals who's sole purpose is too make a profit off human misery and the planet's destruction. They don't call this NWO, disaster capitalism for nothing. This is not what democracy looks like.
