  •  I am sorry to say it amazes me when PBS (18+ / 0-)

manages to produce actual journalism these days; the ripple effects of accepting corporate sponsorship continue to be felt

    •  What are you doing to change that... (2+ / 0-)

besides collecting mojo for whining and complaining?

I watch the show every night and I can actually articulate the effects of accepting corporate sponsorship. The corporate sponsored government continues to remove support from the public airwaves while public television and radio struggle to find less influential corporate partners.

One thing I won't do is switch to some bullshit partisan cable news show and pass bullshit generalizations about a cash strapped news show that has partnered with ProPublica to make ends meet. I won't knock a news show strongly leans towards reality when I can't find a politician who leans towards reality.

I can say one thing for sure, I'll take The PBS NewsHour over some Democratic fan club that is way too obsessed with discussing republican rhetoric, accusing wingnut talking heads and trying to pin the blame on the media for not putting words in the mouths of the Democratic leadership any day.

I've had enough of this crap.

know a lot about me.  What is your suggestion for what a person should do regarding PBS programming besides whining and complaining?  Let me know your suggestions and I will let you know which ones I have done or considered; you know, interject a few facts into the discussion?
