    From the write-up of today's presidential approval tracking poll:

    The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 58% of Likely Voters at least somewhat approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-one percent (41%) at least somewhat disapprove.

    This is the president's highest rating since the first few months of his time in office. For most of 2010, 2011 and the first half of 2012, Obama's job approval rating was generally in the 47% to 49% range. [...]

    Today’s figures include 33% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 33% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of 0 (see trends).

    Today marks the first time since July 2009 that the number of voters who Strongly Approve has matched the number who Strongly Disapprove.
