  •  I thought something smelled about UTA (2+ / 0-)

A couple of years ago, we were having a lot of earthquakes in areas that were being heavily fracked - Joshua, Burleson, Bedford, Justin.  This is DFW.  We don't have earthquakes here.

So none other than a prominent professor at UTA put out a statement - and his interview was featured in local news - that the earthquakes we were having were perfectly natural and not at all a result of fracking.

I'd already began thinking there was something weird about UTA - they've been trending more in the direction of a diploma mill rather than an actual state-sponsored college.  Dumbing down the classes, taking lots of funding from corporations to improve their campus, even telling one of my acquaintances that he had to make his classes easier 'so more students would pass.'

It's way past time we pulled UTA's accreditation as a state school.
