  •  I happened to be visiting friends in Detroit (6+ / 0-)

a couple of years ago during the AFM/Detroit Symphony strike. The outpouring of support from people, not just union people (but is there really any other kind in Detroit, which makes me love it all the more) was amazing.

Snyder is seriously underestimating the resolve of Michiganders (and Michigeese?) when they set their mind to standing up for themselves.

This will not end well for the Michigan GOP.

I am gay, and I'm getting married in the Episcopal Church, just like my great-grandmother did.

Totally off topic: CONGRATS on the impending nuptials! I am delighted for you both!!

In times like these, we cannot make too much music.

            complicated than Michigan politics politics.

I'm way more predisposed to the Spartans, because OU started out as MSU-Oakland. I'd wear black and gold (Oakland) and Green before I'd wear Blue and Maize. Even if my SIL got her Masters there, which she did. I also purchased the first car I ever bought on my own in A-squared. ;)
