it THIS time, but just you watch! It's coming NEXT TIME because he didn't say he WON'T cut benny's EVER!!!"

They undermine their credibility with this nonsense. No one should take them seriously anymore. At this point, until proven otherwise, these predictions of doom should be met with the same ridicule as the predictions of doom based on the Maya calendar. Utter codswallop and scaremongering.

What they continually fail to grasp is that their complete and utter lack of credibility IS WHY politicans ignore them.

If they regain their credibility, they stand a chance of getting politicans to listen to them.  But I don't see that happening.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets it.  Well done.

    •  How hard is it for him to say he won't cut (5+ / 0-)

benny's ever?  He's only President till 2016.  How many times do you expect him to cut benefits by 2016?

      •  He hasn't done it yet (1+ / 0-)

It shouldn't be that difficult considering cuts are so unpopular with the voting public, not to mention the numerous other ways of cutting costs w/o harming working class people.

Wonder why they are considering such a move?

Democratic Leaders must be very clear they stand with the working class of our country. Democrats must hold the line in demanding that deficit reduction is done fairly -- not on the backs of the elderly, the sick, children and the poor.
