I did a beautiful tuck-n-roll about at 60+ after sticking my bike into the side of a Toyota once. Landed on my feet sans bucket 40 feet away.

Not my fault, I was not suicidal. People some days just make U-turns from the curb on a 4-lane highway because they want to.

I can't even blame cellphone-itis for that joyous bit of luck, since in occurred in the Dark Ages before people began walking into light-standards and bonk themselves silly while "Tweeting."

The dire straits facing America are not due poor people having too much money

Just has rash on my shoulder/tee shirt from the first impact.

is very fast for a body. That's about how fast you're going at the bottom of a five to six story fall. No one wants to give that a try eh? The fastest my unprotected body has gone is about 180 MPH in a heads down skydive. But the worst I was ever hurt in all my daredevil activities was a two foot fall into water from a standing position. It's not the velocity that gets you, it's the delta V at the end.
