As it turns out, the stuff that makes the Republican base's hearts go all a-twitter do next to nothing for all the rest of America
    next to nothing?

IMHO that stuff is what drove 51% of Americans to get off their lazy asses and go to the polls to vote against it. after they got done puking, and/or throwing their remote at the teevee.

myself, I called the cable company in 2003 to cancel after accidentally being exposed to the toxic filth that spewed all over me while channel surfing past Bill O'Reilly one night on the way to the Weather Channel. I'd never heard of him before that. I didn't want to ever hear any more.
    sadly that didn't work. :-(
sadly its everywhere, the toxic filth aka "republican/conservative 'ideas.'"

find ways of exposing more people to toxic filth to increase support for being buried in more toxic filth?
    good luck with that Republicans!

as if there is anyone anywhere who can avoid it?

it appears that full saturation, more like carpet bombing, of the electorate with RW agitprop has resulted in either addiction or revulsion/rejection.

future elections will be a poll on which group has a slim edge demographically at any given moment.

no man is completely worthless, he can always be used as a bad example.
