  •  Shirk is a good monosyllabic word, but... (7+ / 0-) doesn't capture the essense of taking what isn't rightfully theirs, I think.

    Even though it captures the part about the moral obligation to unite with others in the fight for workers' rights, it doesn't say that the offender has partaken of those rights nevertheless.

      Another nice thing about this is that shirking is a term frequently used for people who found a way out of their obligation to serve their country. So, I think it would be particularly offensive to right wing chickenhawks. It was very common in the past to call chickenhawks, like the Cheney-Bush crime family, "shirkers." It's a term that's not used so much anymore, possibly because we no longer have a draft.

      Just doing my part to piss off right wing nuts, one smart ass comment at a time.
