  •  I'm very happy with my 2006 Prius (1+ / 0-)

I don't have access to a good place to plug in a car so I will probably stay with a hybrid when I replace this car. I don't think I could go back to a car that gets under 40MPG or so. I will probably get a new car when I get up to the end of the battery's expected life in a year or two. I might go to the smaller Prius C which gets slightly better MPG. My only concern is that the back seat has to be big enough for me to carry my parents. The regular Prius is fine for that. I have done long road trips in my car with plenty of room for my stuff.

My brother is now leasing an electric Ford Focus. He thinks it is great and it meets his needs because his wife has another car that they can use on longer trips. He can go up to 100 miles on a charge.
