more protection at public schools--security guards, a lock system, cameras--to keep these monsters out.  I have a 5 year old daughter who attends preschool, and with 31 school shootings in the past 12 years it's gotten to the point that I'm going to start taking action.  I'm going to push for these safety measures for her school, starting with the principal and working up to the school board and possibly our legislators, and I urge all other parents to do the same.  Enough is enough.

....who was pissing and moaning about the doors in his daughter's school automatically locking after him when he left after a parent-teacher conference.

I wonder what tune he's singing tonight.

    •  But that school had those measures. (0+ / 0-)

At least the lock system and cameras.

The principal recognized the young man as the son of the mom who worked there, and she let him in.

Who will pay for this in every school? At my school we've been cut back in hours/days and lost paraprofessionals and teachers on top of that.

What I want is access to mental health care and medicine for everyone in our country, through universal health care.
