      How can one not be enraged by such senseless and ongoing slaughter?

      I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
      but I fear we will remain Democrats.

        Rage connotes an out of control anger, in my lexicon. Watching and listening to President Obama's statement on the shootings, I perceived grief, anguish, but no rage. No Drama Obama is unlikely to feel rage, from what I've read and observed. "Proceed, Governor."

        I'm less evolved than Obama, wrung out and nauseous from riding a roller coaster from anguish to anger and back. But not rage. Not yet, anyway.
