  •  That's a solution for national news only (7+ / 0-)

for those who can afford cable (and usually upper tier cable access), but doesn't help locally or statewide where most of the GOP extremism starts and exists.

Most people watch the national and local news on TV and whatever they catch on radio station top of the hour "news".

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.

    •  Maybe we could outsource the news. (0+ / 0-)

And... Beat the 'Angry White 1% Guys' at their own game.

Get overseas companies to Print Local news as covered by their local investigative reporters. Yeah I would have less trust as they might have an agenda too but I might know the agenda better by knowing the source. Maybe the local owned news would try to cover local events better so they did not get upstaged by the outsourced newspaper.

My gosh we might have some real news coverage instead of one view well manipulated news coverage.

I notice google has a lot of stories sourced by overseas companies telling local to the US stories. Probably because the overseas companies tell google it is fine, we will not put the stories behind a paywall. Send us all the traffic you want to.

I have lived overseas and know what they see is a lot different than what we see on the same issue and they are many times digging deeper because they are not getting paid to hide a story only to report to their national readers.

Our money system is not what we have been led to believe. The creation of money has been "privatized," or taken over by private money lenders. Thomas Jefferson called them “bold and bankrupt adventurers just pretending to have money.” webofdebt
