    You have some tolerance for these kind of incidents? I know it's hard to quantify, but give it a go. Do you have 5% tolerance? 10%? Under what circumstances is shit like this OK in your estimation?

      Unless it's zero tolerance for repealing the 2nd amendment and confiscating all guns.

      Not something many people want to hear, to be sure. But you're never going to be able to stop all cases like this: Norway has some of the toughest gun laws on the planet and they still weren't able to stop that gun massacre a couple of years ago.

      I am not suggesting that "do nothing" is the correct response here, only that it might be. People are going to snap from time to time. Car accidents are going to happen. Accidental deaths are going to happen. We should do what we can to minimize or eliminate these occurrences, but in a society such as ours, some level of these kinds of things is going to have to be 'acceptable' because the alternative is living in a police state (which still won't prevent all cases).
