one killing there is another killer out there looking for the same glorification thinking "I can do better than that" "I'll show them".  The killer in the Oregon Mall is purported to have shouted "I am the shooter" as he came through the door and would have created more death if his gun hadn't jammed.  Was the Sandy Hook killer watching thinking "that wouldn't happen to me", " I am more powerful than that"?  What is going through the minds of the potential killers as we stop everything and focus on the deaths?  Are they stirred to "do better" or do their own grudges and failures come forth to taunt and haunt them to action?  What are the killers thinking as they see on the news people rushing to buy more guns and ammo, do they see a challenge or a call to action?  To be relevant in their world of perceived neglect are the egged on by the attention of the nation/world to "show them" "get even" or "be THE shooter"?

And then we have the sanitization of the need for and use of guns by the right wing, they justify their actions by thinking that they too would have saved the situation by having more guns. Ann Coulter said more guns would = fewer mass shootings.  The pro-gun proponents have has many delusions of grandeur as the killers.  They think that would be 100% accurate and calm in these situations.  They too want to show "those people how wonderful the guns are".

    In the meantime......
