  •  Yesterday I visited the NRA website (13+ / 0-)

    out of curiosity.

Wow, as it loads (the home page that is), it checks to see if you have a fast enuf (connection) for their 'digital experience'. It literally says 'digital experience'.

The site is very well laid out with lots of links to everything from membership, news, legislation to various 'networks'. I followed one link out to the 'latest news' which was from Dec 14. The female announcer mentioned all sorts of interesting news stories but nothing nothing nothing about the massacre in Newtown. Giving benefit of the doubt, I looked for a more recent video or news link, and found nothing.

The site is slick, sophisticated, and makes you feel you are entering a sort of 'other reality', not just simply a website for your favorite hobby of distruction.

Obviously I was very critical because I don't feel people should have guns. That's me.

I hope this current tragedy hurts their bottom line in a big big way.

My husband thinks nothing will change, even after this latest massacre.

    I disagree.

Now is the time, party is over. The nation has already shown that they don't want to take as much crap as they used to .

I think the 'gun control' issue is now on the chopping block as well.

Gun Control: If not now, then when????
